Defending my Paper

Okay so I feel like I deserve around a 90%. I identify various types of pathos and logos and then analyze how they were effectively used. There is also insightful textual evidence generously supported by analysis of the how and why the author wrote the way they did, not just summary. My conclusion also summarizes the paper effectively, but then adds a profound thought that is closely related to the paper at the end. My organization is also clear, concise and difficult to get lost in, with a diverse diction and sentence length.
If I could do anything differently, I would not procrastinate writing this paper as long I did.
My biggest challenge was not only actually sitting down and writing the paper, but also getting the introduction to flow easily and properly begin my paper.
My papers biggest strength would be my body paragraphs. They are all well supported with analysis and textual evidence but not incredibly dry. I think I did a good job with them.

Presidential Rhetorical Strategies

1. Begging the question: Obama would answer without addressing the actual question.
2. Bandwagon propaganda: Appealing to the people to go with the more popular vote.
3. Eye contact: Both candidates address the audience looking them in the eye maintaining a connection.
4. Didactic pause: Obama pauses a lot when he speaks to draw emphasis to certain points.
5. Imagery: When discussing future plans, Obama describes children to emotionally appeal to the audience.
6. Strawperson: Obama attempted to oversimplify and over generalize Romney's policies. (He failed)
7. Tone: Romney's overall tone was competent and informing creating a credible appeal.
8. Comparison: Romney compares Obama's lies to how his children did the same to him.
9. Rewards: Romney uses jobs as a reward for voting for him.
10. Oversimplification: Obama oversimplifies his arguments in an attempt to appeal to the common man.
